The art director of IMAGO is its visionary mastermind: As a trained actress and concept artist she has devoted herself to the IMAGO project for many years. During this time she has initiated and provided the ideas for many important inventions, such as the rebirth of a production technique of the Harman Direct Positive Paper. She is also the driving force behind another IMAGO vision: the mobile version of the IMAGO Camera, the IMAGO Photo Tour.
She has been working in a self-created art room in Berlin-Kreuzberg since 2011.
The photographer and graduate in education of the “Höheren Graphischen Bundes-, Lehr-und Versuchsanstalt” of Vienna first noticed IMAGO in 2006. She is instantaneously impressed by the aesthetics of each IMAGO program. Her passionate engagement with the photographic possibilities of IMAGO and the unique nature of the Harman Direct Positive Paper are manifested in countless works. Her conviction, strength and dedication have considerably contributed to the success of IMAGO.
Former managing director of Ilford first discovers the IMAGO portraits at the Photokina of 2008, which were produced with the help of a photographic emulsion created by ILFORD. Being fascinated by the expressiveness he secured the future production of this extraordinary direct positive paper. Thanks to the close cooperation between Ilford-Switzerland and the English company Harman Technology the Harman Direct Positive Paper is again available to people world-wide.

Gisela Kaiser has studied psychology, philosophy and politics. As an entrepreneur she was significantly involved in the funding of the IMAGO Photo Tour construction. In addition to that she serves as an enthusiastic and irreplaceable source of ideas for its marketing.
Alla Palej is an organizer, administrator and an accountant for the IMAGO project. She is a trained mining- engineer and a database administrator. Looking for a challenge, the Ukrainian turned Berlin resident made her love for art her occupation. She joined the IMAGO vision and supports the team actively with her work.

Paul Kraus comes from the field filmmaking. He and his brother Jakob devote themselves to the newly rediscovered IMAGO Camera back in 2006 when they begin to restore it. Ever since then Paul is an integral part of the assembling and dismantling team. Paul Kraus insists on taking the IMAGO Photo Tour on its journey across the globe himself. This is where his truck driving experience comes in handy.

Today’s head of the IMAGO workshop is a trained boat builder. He and his brother Paul restore the IMAGO Camera during the summer of 2006. He has become a fixed component of the IMAGO team and builds the mobile version, the IMAGO Photo Tour.

Malgorzata has a master degree in tourism form the university of Danzig in Poland. She left everything behind when she decided to embark on a circumnavigation of the world in 2007. During her stay in Greece she meets IMAGO architect Werner Kraus’s grandson. This is where a permanent and successful professional and personal relationship begins.
